I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you and your children.

The first day of school is one of the greatest days in the entire School year. Everyone is filled with so much enthusiasm and joy for the year ahead, and for the opportunities it presents. Walking around today only confirmed my belief – the students were excited and engaged, the classrooms were vibrant and ready for student work, and the teachers were eager to get to know their new classes. This year we are also so fortunate to welcome 29 new students and their families to our School, who each bring their unique talents to our Schools tapestry.

I look forward to seeing you all this Friday at Shabbat Under the Stars.
