Head of School Search Committee Update

Dear IRDS Community,

We hope that winter break has started off well and everyone is enjoying some time off with the kids.

Our search for the next Head of School continues. We completed our first round interviews last
week and the search committee has begun second round interviews.   We are interviewing 6 strong applicants during the winter break.

Following the second round interviews, we are hoping to bring 2 applicants to meet the community. We want the candidates to meet staff, parents, administration and children. Due to COVID, many of the meetings will be via Zoom.  We believe there has to be a visit to campus as well and we will find a way to do this safely and in compliance with both our own school’s COVID guidelines, as well as that of the State and the County.

If anyone in the community has any questions, concerns or comments about this process please feel free to reach out to any of us. Your input is valued.

The search committee will be working hard in the coming weeks of winter break to move us into the next phase of the process.  We hope that you all have a safe, restful and enjoyable break.
