While we would not typically reach out to our school community over Shabbat, we are doing so in order to invite you to come together and join us this evening for Havdallah.
Havdallah is a ceremony that separates the sanctity of Shabbat as we enter into a new week. So tonight as we will gather as a community, we will separate from Shabbat and the fire that continues to devastate our school and many of the families in our community, and begin to heal.
Join us this evening at 6:15pm at de Toledo High School (22622 Vanowen Street, West Hills, CA 91307).
We thank de Toledo for their generosity in opening their doors to our Ilan Ramon Day School Community.
We know there are a lot of questions: about the state of the campus, how to talk to your children about what has taken place, about our daily plans moving forward. We are doing everything we can to ascertain the answers to these questions, and we will provide as much information as we can this evening. It is our commitment to every member of this community that as soon as we know something, you will know it as well.
We hope you will join us, as our amazing community of students, parents, faculty and staff, and, alumni all stand together and move forward together.
